The Arkham Asylum (アーカム・アサイラム, Ākamu Asairamu), colloquially referred to simply as "Arkham" (アーカム, Ākamu), is a location that appears in the Marvelous DC's Justice Avengers series created by Gardner Fox and Jack Kirby.
It is a government-funded medical institution and penitentiary dedicated to the rehabilitation of the criminally insane, built on a small island off the coast of Gotham City as a security measure. The asylum was named after the original director's mother.
Having being in operation over the years, numerous criminals have been or are being admitted to the facility. The asylum has a mainly gothic look, with many interior gargoyles, but had been outfitted with high-tech security, including forcefield security doors.

- The Arkham Asylum first appeared in Batman #258 (October 1974).
- Dr. Harleen Quinzel was a psychiatric doctor at Arkham before being twisted by Joker into becoming Harley Quinn.
- Ambush Bug spent some time in Arkham Asylum, but was released primarily because they couldn't deal with him anymore.
- The asylum's patients and staff joke that the asylum always keeps at least one cell spare to accommodate the Batman.
- Dr. Benjamin Stoner was a head doctor at Arkham Asylum before he was chosen by a Lord of Chaos named Typhon to act as a soldier of Chaos. Possessed by Typhon, Stoner became the "Anti-Fate" and was manipulated into battling and bringing about the death of Doctor Fate.
- Staff shortages in Arkham mean that staff let some of the more functional patients help out with tasks such as making coffee and cleaning.
- In the time of Harleen Quinzel's residency, Arkham's "best and brightest" patients were held in the southern wing known as "The Zoo".
